Honda Cars India is all set to unveil the new generation Honda Amaze for the Indian market. The new Honda Amaze will break covers tomorrow and ahead of the official launch the brand has dropped a new teaser of the upcoming generation. New Gen Honda Amaze Teased
The new gen Honda Amaze will get a design overhaul which will give it a different look as compared to its current model. At the front, it will get a new and bigger grille, similar to the one seen in the Elevate. Also, the front profile gets a new chrome line, a new LED DRL, and a dual-barrel LED headlamp setup. The front bumper is also tweaked and features a new design for the fog lamp assembly.
Moving to the sides, the brand will offer a new alloy wheel design and some new body lines. The rear of the sedan will get more sleeker LED taillamp, a new bumper, and a reworked tailgate design among other design highlights.
The interior of the new Amaze will also get a revamp and it will be packed with new features. The brand has given a new dashboard to the car which features a new touchscreen infotainment, a new HVAC control unit, semi-digital instrument console, among other changes. Additionally, the new Amaze will get automatic climate control, wireless charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and camera-based ADAS which will be a first-in-segment feature among other features.
Upcoming Honda Amaze Powertrain
The new Amaze will continue to get the same 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 88.5 bhp of power and 110 Nm of peak torque. This engine will continue to get a 5-speed manual and a CVT gearbox option.

Verdict
Honda Amaze is all set to get a new avatar and with the new design and features it will become more appealing as compared to its current generation model. The Amaze will compete with the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Dzire which got 5-star in GNCAP crash test raising the bar in the segment. Moreover, the Amaze is expected to get some segment first features which will make it more competitive in the segment.
