Renault has begun testing its upcoming SUV, the new-gen Duster in India. Recently, a test mule of the 2025 Duster was spied on in Kerala. 2025 Renault Duster Details
Although, the test mule was completely camouflaged, we have got a rough idea of the design langauge of the SUV. The new-gen Duster seems near to enter the production stage. Taking a look at the test mule, we can say that the 2025 Dsuter will continue with the masculine character that the previous gen Duster. We are expecting some design tweaks in the front fascia of the SUV while the overall sihoutte could be same as the previous model.
The Renault Duster has been a great achievement of the Renault in India, but due to some reason it was discontinued. The comeback of the sucessful model could boost the automaker's sales in our market. Some reports suggest that there will be two versions on offer- a 5 seater and a 7 seater. While the five seater model is expected to make its India debut by mid 2025, the seven seater version will be introduced later in 2026.
2025 Renault Duster: Powertrain
As of now, we are completely unaware of the specs of India spec Duster. However, we can take an idea from the version currently on sale in Europe market. The global-spec version is powered by a bi-fuel (Petrol+LPG), strong hybrid and mild hybrid powetrain options. In terms of features, the internationally available Duster has LED lights, 10.1 inch infotainment screen, 7 inch digital instrument cluster and 17 inch alloy wheels. The India spec version is not expected to be as feature loaded as the one available internationally mainly because of affordability.
