New Honda Amaze Variant And Feature Detail
The upcoming Honda Amaze will be offered in three variants: V, VX, and ZX as per the latest reports. In terms of features, the top-spec variant will offer LED lighting, rear AC vents, wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a lane watch camera, a rear parking camera, six airbags, and an ADAS suite. However, features like a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, and a sunroof will be absent. The introduction of an ADAS suit will be groundbreaking in the segment and will surpass the Dzire with this one. However, it is important to note that the Dzire offers a sunroof, which the Amaze misses out on.
It will likely retain the 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox. While the overall dimensions will remain similar, the new Amaze is expected to be slightly wider. Although the debut is slated for December 4, unofficial bookings are already underway for those looking to take it home a bit earlier than the rest.
The upcoming Honda Amaze has already been spotted without camouflage, revealing a design inspired by the Elevate and City. The front fascia features a prominent grille and sleek LED headlights. While details about the side profile are limited, it draws inspiration from the City and Elevate.
Verdict
The upcoming Honda Amaze facelift is set to disrupt the compact sedan segment with the introduction of an ADAS suite. This strategic move positions it ahead of rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Tata Tiago. Coupled with other modern tech upgrades and safety features, the Amaze's pricing strategy will be crucial in determining its success, especially in light of the recently launched new-generation Maruti Dzire.
