Nissan Qashqai Spotted
The five-seater premium SUV Nissan Qashqai is already available in other countries. Although the test mule was completely camouflaged, it shared similarities with the Qashqai seen at the event last month in terms of the overall shape. Nissan's V-Motion grille is featured on the front end along with LED DRL. Large diamond-cut alloy wheels were seen on the SUV's side. A built-in spoiler and LED taillamps were visible on the test mule's back end.
A 360-degree camera, a touchscreen infotainment display, a premium sound system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automated climate control, and a panoramic sunroof are just a few of the amenities the Qashqai will have.

Nissan Qashqai Engine Specifications
The international variant of the Qashqai comes with a 1.3-liter petrol mild hybrid engine that generates 156 bhp of power and is available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic transmission. It also has a 1.5-liter powerful hybrid engine that Nissan refers to as the e-Power engine; it makes 190 bhp of power and 330 Nm of torque. A transmission called e-Drive is available with this engine. However, it is currently unknown which model or engine will enter the Indian market.
Verdict: If the Nissan Qashqai is introduced in India, it will go up against the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson, and other premium 5-seater SUVs in the country. The cost would be in the range of Rs 30-35 lakh (ex-showroom) if it is sold as a CBU unit.
