Skoda Kushaq is one of the most anticipated mid-size SUVs that is launching on June 28. Now, new information has surfaced on the internet that Skoda is planning to bring the bigger and more powerful 1.5L turbo petrol TSI of the Kushaq in August. Yes, on June 28, the Czech carmaker will only launch the 1.0L petrol with both manual and automatic transmission.
Sharing more light on the mechanicals of the 1.0L petrol then this one churns out 115 PS with a peak torque of 175 Nm. This is the same unit as seen on the Rapid 1.0L but now generates more power. A 6-speed manual will come as a standard while the 6-speed automatic will be optional.
Skoda is planning to bring the Kushaq in three variants only - Active, Ambition and Style. While the 1.0L petrol will be available with all the variants, the 1.5L will be reserved for the top-spec Style variant only. As of now, there is no information if the carmaker will be bringing the sportier Onyx and Monte Carlo variants.

Feature-wise, the Kushaq will be topped to the brim. A 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ambient lighting and electronic stability control will be made standard across all variants. The higher trims will feature 10-inch touchscreen infotainment, 6-speakers, wireless charger, automatic climate control, ventilated seats, cruise control and others. The lack of an electric sunroof can be a dealbreaker to some.
Safety features on this one include multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, hill hold control, reverse parking camera with guidance and others.

Skoda Kushaq will be available in a total of five different colour schemes - Honey Orange, Carbon Steel, Candy White, Brilliant Silver and Tornado Red. As far as the prices are concerned then we expect the Kushaq to start from Rs 11.50 lakh and the top model fetching till Rs 17 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
