Hyderabad-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Quantum Energy showcases four new electric scooters to the Indian market. They all are upcoming high-speed EV scooters and the company will be designing, developing and manufacturing these units here in India itself and follow the Make In India scheme.
Quantum Energy 4 Scooters
Plasma EV
This gets powered by a 1500W motor and gets a top speed of 60 kmph. The electric two-wheeler manufacturer claims that the scooter can do 110 km to 130 km easily on a single charge. This is quite good considering how the country is adapting to the EV wave and it will be a good electric scooter to commute in the city.
Elektron and Milan
These two scooters are offered with a 1000W capacity motor and can achieve a top speed of 50 kmph. Both the scooters are offered with different riding modes too.
Bziness
This one is equipped with a 1200 W motor and clocks the same top speed as Elektron and Milan. It offers a range between 80 km to 100 km on a single charge and is offered with multiple riding modes.
All four electric scooters are powered by advanced Lithium-ion batteries and these can be juiced up in just four hours. The less charging time, as well as the long riding range offered on all scooters, makes it an interesting buy for potential EV buyers. All these scooters will be available from Oct'22.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Chakravarthi Chukkapalli, Director of Quantum Energy Limited said Quantum energy scooters have been developed with technology to deliver the best range without compromising on the performance. The focus has been on building high-quality products at affordable prices in the Indian market.
The batteries are powered by a smart BMS with multilevel safety protections to make sure they are extremely safe. The products have good gradeability for dual riders and riding uphill. Quantum has registered multiple design and utility patents. The scooters have been rigorously tested and validated for Indian road conditions, he concluded.
