Renault India has launched a new TVC for the Kiger that features Dhamaka-star Mrunal Thakur. The ad showcases the Kiger SUV's stunning beauty and clever features like riding modes, etc.

The Kiger showcased in the TVC was most probably one of the top-spec models. It could either be the RXZ Turbo or RXZ, either way, it was definitely not a DT model. The design of the Kiger is inspired by Renault Kwid and Triber. The front grille of the Kiger will especially remind you of the Triber. The standard front chrome-clad grilles future DRLs look is futuristic. The headlamps are housed in the front bumper, and the top-spec Kiger model like the one showcased in the TVC, gets a triple ice cube-shaped LED design. The muscular aspect of the front hood is carried over to the side as well, with 16-inch alloy wheels housed in thick-cladded wheel arches, and roof rails. The C-shaped taillamps, and roof-mounted spoiler, followed by a muscular rear bumper, leaves behind a sporty-yet-SUV-ish after look. Faux skid plates are available on both front and rear bumpers.

The Renault Kiger gets two petrol engine options only. The standard 1.0-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine produces 71 Ps and 96 Nm of torque, whereas, the 1.0-litre turbocharged unit produces 100 bhp and 160 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed automatic. Theres also a CVT gearbox, but it is available with the Turbo models only.
Feature-wise, the Renault Kiger comes equipped with decent features. For instance, at the centre of the dashboard the touchscreen infotainment screen supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Then there rear AC vents, a fully digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, a multifunction steering wheel, Wireless charger, 3D sound by ARKAMYs (4 speakers+4 tweeters), Rearview camera, front parking sensors, and a multi-sense drive mode, to name just a few.
