Renault India is known to astound the audience with their unique products. The first such car from the French carmaker was the Duster which introduced the small SUV segment to the Indian market. The Kwid also took the trending SUV approach and offered a stance never seen before in the segment. Renaut has recently given a big update to the Kwid and it appeals more than ever. What the Renault kwid has to offer, we tell you in its first look review.
Renault Kwid First Look Review - Exteriors
Renault Kwid looks flamboyant and easily the most attractive hatchback of its segment. The recently-unveiled Datsun Redi-go also looks great but lacks the proportions which please the eyes. The front of the Kwid gets split headlight setup with LED DRLs and indicators sitting on the top. The main headlight is halogen, placed on the bumper and the Climer variant also gets headlight surroundings and funky skid plates.

The side profile of the Kwid is much better than before - thanks to the addition of 14-inch alloy wheels. The older 13-inch wheels used to look tiny and the addition of body cladding made them look even smaller. The doors also get sporty decals which change in respect to the engine options. The rear of the Kwid looks cute thanks to the wraparound LED taillights and a neat roof spoiler. The Kwid is also the longest and widest car of its segment, giving it a bigger presence on the road when compared with the competition.
Renault Kwid First Look Review - Interiors & Features

The touchscreen system is crisp and offers Android Auto, Apple Car Play, reverse parking camera and voice commands. The instrument cluster is digital and also gets a tachometer. The power window controls are placed on the dashboard and Renault has finally started offering internally adjustable ORVMs. The rear seats of the Kwid are comfortable and offer centre armrest - again first in the segment. If you choose the Climber trim, Renault also offers rear power windows and orange inserts on the seats.
