Royal Enfield Bullet 650: What To Expect?
Spotted on the ECR in Chennai, the two test bikes of Royal Enfield have raised eyebrows. One is the upcoming Guerrilla 450, which is scheduled for a global debut on July 17. But, accompanying it is a 650cc roadster that is likely to be called Bullet 650. While it is not the first time that these motorcycles have been spotted, the production-ready form of Bullet 650 surely looks interesting. It will be the fifth addition to the 650 portfolio of Royal Enfield globally when launched.
The 650cc Bullet was spied testing in Europe earlier this year as well. Now, the latest spy shots reveal that it'll get an identical design to the Bullet 350. The classic and retro theme is evident with the round headlight, a headlamp cowl, and tiger lamps. Also, the large tear-shaped fuel tank and a well-cushioned single seat, provide it an overall comfortable posture. The test bike is seen using spoke rims with tube-type tyres.
While the engine and lower portion are not visible in this spy photo, the oil cooler and the chrome exhaust pipes hint that it'll get a chrome treatment on the lower half. It'll be powered by the existing 648cc parallel-twin oil-cooled engine, that generates 47bhp of peak power and 52Nm of peak torque. The different ECU tuning and 6-speed gear ratios will be done specifically as per its dimensional and weight changes.
The current aim of the company is to launch the Guerrilla 450 successfully. However, the Bullet 650 doesn't look far away in terms of debut date. We expect that it will be revealed in November during the upcoming EICMA'24 show. However, its official launch and price announcement could be made in December during the Motoverse festival. The expected pricing of Bullet 650 will be Rs 3.20 lakh, and it'll be positioned below the Super Meteor 650.

Also, Bullet brand name is one of the oldest worldwide, and the powerful engine mixed with retro looks will be a perfect recepie for retro bike lovers.
