Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is going to launch soon in India. The upcoming ADV bike is one of the most-anticipated two-wheeler launches of 2023. Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Mecahnic & Dealership Training Details
The RE Himalayan 450 is expected to debut by September 2023 in India. Now, as per our dealer source, the bike is almost ready for its global debut. In fact, RE has begun the systematic training of mechanics from each service centre for the Himalayan 450. Additionally, the dealerships have been trained and provided with a new showroom layout. According to this layout, there will be a specific corner for the Himalayan 450 in the showroom. Here, the bike will be displayed to the customers along with its official accessories.
Speaking of the upcoming Himalayan, it was recently teased by CS Santosh. The pro-rally rider was seen riding the Himalayan 450 to its limits on an off-road track in a recent online teaser. Meanwhile, the design of the new bike will be that of a proper ADV. The front will be elongated and it'll get new hardware like USD forks and a new fuel tank. Meanwhile, the engine will be the first-ever liquid-cooled unit from RE. It is expected to get a 450cc, single-cylinder engine that will produce nearly 40 bhp & 45 Nm of peak torque. It is also expected to get different riding modes & a switchable ABS.
Verdict
The upcoming Himalayan 450 will offer more power & new features to the customers. Also, it'll get new hardware that is expected to enhance the off-road capabilities of the bike further. In India, its prime rivals include the KTM Adventure 390 & BMW G 310 GS. The expected launch price of the new Himalayan shall be around Rs 2.75 lakh (ex-showroom). More details will emerge as we close the launch timeline; which is expected to be around September'23.
