It seems that the Royal Enfield is now nearing to the production-ready spec of the Shotgun 650. The latest spy pics showcase to us that none of the panels were camouflaged. This helps us to also notice that the new bike uses a different design when compared to the siblings like the Interceptor 650 & the Continental GT 650.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Accessory Details
The retro-modern look is sustained by the siblings but the stance is more of a laid-back cruiser mix. The riding position looks fascinating for the buyers who wanted to have the 650 engine on a cruiser bike. The large teardrop-shaped fuel tank endorses more riding range. The round LED headlight is another design aspect to vouch for the Shotgun styling.
The main elements of the design are the upside-down forks, alloy wheels, single discs at the front and rear, and a split-seat setup. Also, the company has reworked the twin exhausts with a short barrel design. The new exhausts now sit lower and straight when compared with the sibling bikes.
While we can see what it might look like, we can also spot the upcoming accessories on this test bike. An engine crash guard seen like the one over the Classic 350 looks butch. Fitted on it are the twin auxiliary lights which might come as an option as well. These aux lights also indicate that the Shotgun is more dedicated to long-distance riding.
Apart from this, we can also spot the bar-end mirrors like the ones of the Continental GT accessory options. The rear end of the test bike incarnates the Meteor 350 type LED taillight. Royal Enfield is going to use a twin-pod semi-digital instrument panel on the Shotgun. We also hope that it will come with a standard navigation system like the Meteor one.
Engine-wise, the same torquey 650cc, a parallel-twin unit from the siblings will be fitted on the Shotgun. Expect the top power figure around 47 hp and torque around 52 Nm. The 6-speed gearbox with slipper-assist clutch is another standard specification that can be expected to be offered on it.

Launch & Price
As the recent test bikes were spotted mostly uncamouflaged; we suspect that the R&D has neared the production-spec bike. This translates that the Shotgun 650 can be launched internationally sometime by the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023. Pricing will remain in the likes of Rs 3 lakh plus.
