Let's start by discussing the cost of this electric scooter. Initially, Simple Energy launched the Dot One with a smaller 3.7kWh battery at a special price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). However, this introductory offer has concluded, and the revised price, now including the charger, is Rs 1,39,999. If you've already pre-booked the Simple One, you have the option to switch to the Dot One and secure it at the original price of Rs 99,999 until December 31. After this date, the cost for all pre-bookings of the Simple Dot One will increase to Rs 1,39,999. It's important to note that the scooter is available in a single variant.
Power And Performance
When it comes to the performance of the Dot One, it's powered by a 3.7 kWh battery working alongside an 8.5 kW electric motor. This combination delivers a peak torque output of 72 Nm. Safety features include CBS (Combined Braking System) with efficient disc brakes. The Dot One model comes with a fixed battery, and it stands out for its impressive range certified at 151 km and 160 km in IDC, making it the electric two-wheeler with the longest range in its category.
