It appears like Skoda India is getting ready to introduce the Kushaq's first anniversary edition. The new Skoda Kushaq anniversary edition has been sighted in a dealership parking lot, indicating that the launch will happen soon. Due to its recent 5-star safety certification in the Global NCAP crash test, the Kushaq has been making headlines over the past several days. The brand seem to be seeking to improve festive season sales with the release of the anniversary edition. The Car Show has uploaded a walkaround video of the forthcoming Skoda Kushaq anniversary edition to the internet.

Skoda Kushaq Anniversary Edition
The upcoming Kushaq anniversary edition will be built on the vehicle's Style trim level. Although the front profiles of the standard and anniversary editions are identical, slight adjustments have been made to make them distinct. Door guards, chrome accents on door handles, side cladding with chrome embellishments and Anniversary Edition is written on the C-Pillar are added to the side profile. For its anniversary edition, Kushaq may receive a special colour choice, similar to Taigun's anniversary edition.
The interior of this special edition resembles that of the regular versions, however instead of the usual editions' 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, it has a 10-inch touchscreen. Additionally, dealer-level accessories are an option for a more personalised appearance. There will also be additional features including an electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, a chilled glove box, and automated temperature control. Dual airbags, a reverse parking camera with sensors, TPMS, ESP, hill hold control, traction control system, and other equipment are offered on the safety front.

Skoda Kushaq Anniversary Edition Engine
Skoda won't alter the engine's specifications; it will still come with a 1.0-liter TSI petrol engine. The engine generates a maximum torque of 178 Nm and a power output of 113 bhp. A 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission are paired with this engine. A 1.5-liter TSI petrol engine with 148 bhp of power and 250 Nm of peak torque is also available with the Kushaq. Both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG transmission are available for this powerplant.
Verdict: The Skoda Kushaq anniversary edition will primarily emphasise the vehicle's cosmetic changes. The company has not disclosed the debut date or pricing, but we anticipate it will occur before the festive season is over and cost around Rs. 15.50 lakh (Ex-showroom).
