Ahead of the festive season, several carmakers offer huge discount benefits to attract customers. This not only helps them improve sales but also clears out the inventory. The Czech carmaker, Skoda, too is following the same strategy and offering benefits to customers on its popular models, Kushaq and Slavia.
Skoda is offering up to Rs 55,000 discount benefits on Kushaq. This mid-size SUV gets Rs 15,000 as an exchange bonus and corporate bonus each and another Rs 25,000 as cash. However, the cash offer is valid for customers holding HDFC Bank Regalia and Diners Club cards.
Skoda Kushaq is priced from Rs 11.29 lakh to Rs 19.49 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It rivals Maruti Grand Vitara, VW Taigun, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor and Nissan Kicks.

The next car from Skoda which gets huge discount benefits is Slavia. This sedan rivals Hyundai Verna, Maruti Ciaz, VW Virtus and fifth-gen Honda City. It is priced from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 18.39 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Skoda is offering discount benefits worth Rs 45,000 on the Slavia and it is seen as Rs 10,000 corporate bonus, Rs 15,000 exchange bonus and another Rs 20,000 cash offer for the same card holders that are valid with Kushaq too. The carmaker is also offering 4 years service maintenance package as a complimentary with both cars.
Under the hood, both models are offered with two engine options - 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI. The latter is the most powerful motor in the segment and pumps out 148 bhp of power with a peak torque of 250 Nm. For the automatic, it gets a 7-speed DSG unit.
The smaller, 1.0L TSI unit is the most popular one in the market. It belts out 114 bhp of power with a peak torque of 178 Nm. It gets a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox as an option. A 6-speed stick shift remains standard with both engine options in Kushaq as well as Slavia.
