Skoda Kushaq Is Now Expensive Than Before; Gets Rs 70,000 Price Revision

The Kushaq is the first car to be built on the MQB AO IN platform from the Skoda-VW group. It is available in two petrol engine options - 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI. Just recently, Skoda silently introduced two new variants to the Kushaq line-up - Active Peace and Ambition Classic and now, the Czech carmaker has hiked the prices of the SUV by Rs 70,000 for some of the variants.

Here we share the new price list of all the variants -

The 1.0-litre motor of the Kushaq belts out 114 bhp of power with 178 Nm of peak torque. It gets mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard and gets an option of a six-speed torque converter. The ARAI certified fuel economy of this motor sticks to 17.88 kmpl for the MT and 15.78 kmpl for the AT. This 1.0L motor is available in all variants - Active Peace, Active, Ambition Classic, Ambition, Style and Style with 6 airbags.

The bigger and more powerful 1.5L TSI motor of the Kushaq is limited to the top of the line Style variant only. It generates 148 bhp of power with a peak torque of 250 Nm. A 6-speed stick shift is offered as standard along with an optional 7-speed DSG. The ARAI certified fuel economy of this motor sticks to 17.95 kmpl for the manual and 17.7 for the 7-speed DSG.
