Skoda Auto India has expanded its Kushaq range by introducing a new Sportline variant. The new Sportline Edition is majorly about the design changes that make the sub-compact look more sportier and cool. Skoda Kushaq Sportline: Design
The Kushaq Sportline Edition features a bunch of blacked-out elements that make it even more sporty. These design elements include ORVMs, the front grille, Skoda lettering on the tailgate, door garnish, diffuser and roof rails as well. These blacked-out elements go well with the available paint options with the compact SUV. Also, you get the new black R17 alloy wheels which are exclusive to this edition.
Skoda Kushaq Sportline: Interior
The Skoda Kushaq Sportline carries the same interior layout as the standard model, but there are a few tweaks to the inside too. This edition gets black fabric seats with dual-colour sporty centre stripes. Also, the dashboard and door panels are finished in carbon fibre-like material. On the feature front, the Sportline Edition is based on the fully loaded style variant, so you'll get all the features offered by the compact SUV.
Kushaq Sportline: Engine
The Skoda Kushaq Sportline is available with the same engine options offered with the standard Kushaq - a 1 litre turbo (115 PS and 178 Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that makes 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The 1.5 litre powerplant comes mated to a a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission and a 6-speed manual transmission while the 1.0 litre unit comes linked to a six speed torque converter and a six speed manual gearbox. Talking about the fuel efficiency, this engine provides a claimed mileage of 18.86 kmpl which is quite good with the mentioned power figures.
Price Range
The all new Skoda Kushaq Sportline starts at Rs. 14.70 lakh and goes up to Rs. 17.40 lakh for the top end 1.5 litre DSG variant. The Skoda kushaq competes with the likes of Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Maruti Grand Vitara and the Honda Elevate in India.
