Skoda Kylaq
This new SUV, based on the MQB-AO-IN platform, shares several technical and mechanical components with the Skoda Kushaq, along with similar styling. The 1.0L TSI engine is the sole option available, paired with either a 6-speed manual (6-MT) or a 6-speed automatic (6-AT) gearbox. In just 10 days, 10,000 bookings have been made, indicating that this SUV could become Skodas best-seller.
Although its competitors are no slouches and are among the best-selling cars in the country namely the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet the Kylaq's biggest advantage lies in its fantastic engine and platform, which have contributed to its 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test.
Additionally, the first 33,333 customers of the Kylaq are eligible for a limited offer of a 3-year standard maintenance package (SMP). Skoda also mentioned that the Classic variant, which is the base model, is completely sold out and no longer available for bookings, leaving customers to consider the higher variants.
