Skoda Octavia RS: Design
In terms of design, the latest Skoda Octavia RS is almost similar to the standard Octavia. The performance version differs just from the RS-specific wheels, paint scheme and RS badging. Coming to the interiors, the Octavia RS gets RS badging on the steering wheel, RS-specific upholstery, body-coloured accents, RS graphics for the infotainment system and carbon-fibre inserts to enhance its sporty appearance.
Skoda Octavia RS: Powertrain
Powering the performance version of the new-gen Octavia is a potent 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. This powerhouse is capable of making 264 bhp and 370 Nm of torque. For transmission duties, there is a seven-speed DSG gearbox that allows the sedan to accelerate from a standstill to 100 kmph in just 6.4 seconds. These capabilities make the Octavia RS among the fastest FWD cars in the world.
Will Octavia RS Come to India?
First, we will get the new-gen Octavia in India. The RS version will only be shown to grab the attention of the audience at the show. However, it is sure that the new-gen Octavia is coming to India.
