Updated on April 27 - Skoda launched the Rapid TSI BS6 last year in India and its Rider variant was in very demand. Skoda had to stop the bookings for the Rapid Rider but now it has been launched once again and you can read about it by clicking HERE. Now, you can keep scrolling down to read about this Modified Skoda Rapid Rider variant.
Original Article - July 25, 2020; Skoda shook up the sedan segment with the launch of the Rapid TSI Rider. It was even cheaper than its indirect hatchback counterpart - the Polo TSI. But the Rapid Rider was under-equipped, to say the least. It doesn't even come with alloy wheels. Today we have an example of a Modified Skoda Rapid Rider to show how you can make your Rider trim to look and feel better than the Style trim.
Talking about the exterior changes, the owner has gone with blacked-out roof, ORVMs and taillights. The roof has been wrapped black, along with the ORVMs - similar to what we get in the Monte Carlo Rapid. The rear taillights get smoked treatment which looks sporty. The side decals are dealership fitment but the OE fog lamps have been retrofitted. You will also get to see the 16-inch clubber alloy wheels which have been sourced from ex Rapid owner.

The 16-inch alloy wheels are shod with 205 section Yoko Blue Earth tyres. The stock car came with MRF ZVTV tyres shod on 15-inch steel rims. The rear of the car looks even more enticing thanks to the sweet carbon-fibre-finished boot lip spoiler and shark fin antenna. The exterior is much sportier and all this car asks now for are projector headlamps. That will make it look like the Monte Carlo variant and the owner will also be getting the alloys blacked-out soon.
Moving on the interiors, they get a lot of changes which are not directly visible in images. The first change you will notice is the quilted-leather seat covers which look great in contrast to black & beige interior. The armrest is also covered in beige leather. The owner has also got a leather-wrapped steering wheel and Vinyl floor mating on top of Skoda's mandatory floor mats. The seatbelts also get shoulder pads to increase the comfort and decrease the strain whilst the pre-tensioners are in action. As you have read all these mods, there are chances of you getting pinched from inside to get all this done. So let's talk numbers now!
