Skoda Slavia is one of the most anticipated cars in the Indian market and it'll be launching on Feb 28 with the 1.0L TSI motor while the 1.5L TSI unit will be launching on March 3. Just recently, we brought to you a video showcasing the base variant of the sedan and now, we have got the video explaining the mid-spec variant that is the Ambition trim of the upcoming Skoda Slavia.
As can be seen, at the front, it continues to get the signature butterfly grille with chrome accents just like the Active variant. The fog lights along with chrome garnish are an addition to the Ambition variant when compared with the base version. If you move towards the top-spec Style variant then the halogen headlights will be replaced with LED headlamps. They'll also get L-shaped LED daytime running lights.
Moving towards the side profile then the 15-inch steel wheels are now replaced with 16-inch alloy wheels of dimension 205/55 R16. Here, you also get Skoda badging on the front fender. The body-coloured door handles are now replaced with chrome and receive power-folding ORVMs with turn indicators on offer.

At the rear, witness the split LED taillamp design with Skoda lettering on the tailgate. The bootspace of Skoda Slavia is a massive 521 litres that is quite large when compared with the 506 litres of the fifth-gen Honda City. The boot of the Slavia is extendable to 1050 litres if the rear seats are folded. The spare wheel of the Slavia measures 195/65 R15 and the licence plates light get LED treatment.
Jumping to the interior of the Slavia then the cabin receives a dual-tone theme. You will also find rear AC vents, soft-touch material on the door pads, a rear armrest with two cup holders and dual USB type C ports to charge your mobiles.
The Ambition variant also gets a larger 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The two-spoke steering wheel with multi-function controls, automatic climate control, cruise control, LED cabin lights and adjustable headrests are some of the other features of the mid-variant.
Mechanically, like the Kushaq, we do expect the Ambition to be powered by a 1.0-litre TSI motor only. This engine generates 114 bhp with 178 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. One also gets a 6-speed AT with this one.
