The Skoda Slavia will be launched in the market soon and will be the second car to be based on Skoda's new MQB A0-IN platform after the Kushaq. The car is expected to offer a premium cabin along with impressive engine options and will compete against the products like Hyundai Verna and the Honda City. The Skoda Slavia will be launched in the Indian market in the coming few weeks and is expected to be priced from INR 10 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand released official design sketches of the Skoda Slavia recently that do reveal the bodyline of the car. The Skoda Slavia design not only looks premium but also helps the car boast a strong road presence. Here are all the details that we know so far.
The Skoda Slavia gets a couple-like silhouette that gives it a premium look. The car may remind you of the more expensive sedans in the brand's lineup and features led taillights and LED headlamps. More so, the Slavia also retains the large grille in the centre and has an aggressive styling that definitely looks better than most of its rivals like the Maruti Ciaz and the Hyundai Verna. Moreover, the Slavia features dual cut large alloy wheels that gel in well with the design. In all, the Skoda Slavia looks smart and boasts an upmarket look. The rear bumper also gets chrome treatment to make it look more appealing.

On the features front, the car is expected to offer a large sunroof, keyless entry, auto headlamps, LED taillights, rear defogger, electrically adjustable ORVMs, etc. In addition to this, features like a rear view camera, parking sensors, cruise control, and many other safety features too will be on offer. Move inside and you will get a luxurious and comfortable cabin that comes loaded with all the bells and whistles that we expect from a car of this class today.
The buyers will have two engine options to choose from. The first engine on offer is the 1.0-L TSI engine that also powers the cars like the Polo, Vento, Kushaq, and the now-discontinued Rapid. This engine can be had with a 6-speed manual and an automatic gearbox. The other engine on offer happens to be the mighty 1.5-L TSI engine that boasts commendable performance and fuel economy. This engine too can be had with both, manual as well as automatic gearboxes. Both these engines are BS6 compliant and offer supreme refinement. No diesel engine however will be on offer.
