Suzuki Motorcycle India has recently released the new version of its maxi-scooter Burgman Street 125. The new version is named the Burgman Street 125EX. The new edition of the scooter comes with various upgrades as compared to the original edition of the scooter. Burgman Street 125EX is available now for Rs. 1.12 lakh, which is Rs. 19,000 more expensive than the normal Burgman's Ride Connect edition. Due to the larger tyre size in the EX variant, the Burgman Street EX is 5 mm longer and has a 25 mm larger wheelbase than the standard variant. Additionally, the EX variant is 1 kg heavier and 15 mm narrower than the standard Burgman variant in terms of width.
Suzuki Burgman Street 125 vs Burgman Street 125EX - Colour Options
Due to the shared design language, both scooters will appear similar at first glance. But the new Burgman Street 125EX has three new colour options, including Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No. 2, Matte Black No. 2, and Metallic Royal Bronze, as well as new EX badging.
There are five colour options available for the Burgman Street 125 standard, including Glossy Grey, Matte Blue, Peral Mirage White, Metallic Matte Black No. 2, and Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red. Only the Burgman standard and Ride Connect editions come in these colours.

The 4-stroke 124cc engine in the Suzuki Burgmant Street 125 and Street 125EX variants is the same. The Street 125 EX has an output of 8.6 PS (8.48 bhp) compared to the ordinary variant's 8.7 PS (8.58 bhp). Both variations provide a torque of 10 Nm. Suzuki has altered the Burgman Street 125EX's engine for increased fuel efficiency, which results with a power output that is only 0.01 bhp different from the standard model.

The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is equipped with an LED headlamp unit, a digital instrument cluster, Suzuki Ride Connect connected features which displays call and SMS notifications, turn-by-turn directions, and other connectivity capabilities, and alloy wheels measuring 90/90-12 inches up front and 90/100-10 inches down back.
The recently released Burgman Street 125EX, on the other hand, has extra features including Suzuki Easy Start Technology, a silent starter, and a new idle start-stop technology for enhanced fuel efficiency. Another distinction is that the back now has a 100/80-12-inch alloy wheel, while the front still has a 90/90-12-inch alloy wheel. The EX variant's other features are identical to those of the standard variant.

The price of the EX variant is expensive, costing Rs 22,400 more than the regular variant and Rs 19,000 more than the Ride Connect variant because of the extra features of the variant.
Verdict
The main worry of buyers of two-wheelers is fuel efficiency, which is improved in the latest variant. The Burgman Street 125EX is unquestionably a solid choice with the new fuel-saving features. However, purchasing the EX edition will cost you more money in order to receive these features. The Standard, Ride Connect, and EX variants share many of the same fundamental features and silhouettes. But with the fuel-efficient model, the company could be able to attract more customers. The main rivals of the Suzuki Burgman Street 125EX include the TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Activa 125, and Aprilia SXR125.
