Just recently, Tata teased the Altroz dual-clutch automatic and now the official bookings for the same have commenced. You can book the Tata Altroz DCA (dual-clutch automatic) at Rs 21,000 across all the dealerships present in the country and the deliveries will start from Mid-March 2022.
The automatic version of the Tata Altroz will be sourced to the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor. This engine churns out 85 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 113 Nm. We're expecting a 7-speed DCT and that'll make the Altroz the second premium hatchback to feature this gearbox after the Hyundai i20.
Tata claims that this wet-clutch transmission offers the best performance for all Indian road conditions and the customers will have a seamless experience with the same.
