As you can see, Tata Altroz is no doubt the feature-rich when compared with the Nexon, however, you do get some things which are exclusive for the compact SUV only. Even though in a base variant. Like the projector headlights, safety features like hill hold control, ESP and traction control, an all digital instrument cluster, sunglass holder, LED taillights and more.

Where the Altroz stands out is with the touchscreen infotainment system with 6-speakers and offering modern connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. However, the same can be done for Nexon via aftermarket shops and there you can set your budget for the same and get additional things too.

Also, the reverse camera from the outside is much cheaper than the factory fitted. A lot of people buy the base variant and opt for the aftermarket accessories since they can customize their vehicle according to their taste.

Also, Nexon provides better fuel tank capacity of 44 litres which means you can churn out more kilometres. Another advantage is of the boot space which is 350 litres as compared to 345 litres present in the Altroz.

Verdict

The decision clearly depends on you where you are looking for, a base variant of compact SUV which you can customise according to your own needs or a mid-variant XT of Altroz where you need not to add any accessory. Both the cars offer Global NCAP rating of 5 stars so you need not worry about the safety but performance wise, the Nexon has got you covered.
