Tata Curvv and Curvv EV: What Is The Launch Date?
The car manufacturer has confirmed that the Curvv EV will hit the market sometime between July and September 2024, marking the second quarter of the financial year 2025. Following this, the ICE-equipped curvv will be launched about three to four months later.
This move underlines Tata's strategy to tap into the festive season sales this year with the launch of both Curvv models. First up will be the Curvv EV, followed by the petrol/diesel versions

Tata Curvv And Curvv EV: Under The Hood
While specific details about the EV version's inner workings haven't been disclosed yet, it's anticipated to offer two battery pack choices ranging from 40 to 50 kWh.
The Tata Curvv EV will ride on Tata's latest electric-only Acti.ev platform, the same one used for the recently introduced Punch EV.
The ICE-equipped Curvv will provide choices between petrol and diesel engines. Petrol options include a 123.29 bhp 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 168 bhp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The diesel variant will feature a 113 bhp 1.5-litre engine from the Nexon.
Tata Curvv And Curvv EV - Rivals And Expected Prices
The Curvv EV is set to go head-to-head with popular electric SUVs like the Hyundai Kona Electric, MG ZS EV, and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, along with the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX.
On the other hand, it will also be taking on traditional SUVs such as the Skoda Kushaq, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
The anticipated price for the Curvv is approximately Rs 10.50 lakh (excluding showroom costs), while the EV version is projected to be priced at Rs 20 lakh (excluding showroom costs).

Tata Motors' strategic move to launch both models aligns with the evolving preferences of consumers towards electric mobility while also catering to those who prefer conventional powertrains.
