Tata Motors is considering launching the Tata Harrier XTA and XTA+ automatic transmission models in the coming future. It must be noted that the Tata Harrier is one of the promising SUVs present in the market that garnered a lot of sales with its second version launched last year and then came in the Dark and Camo editions to further improve sales.
Currently, Tata Harrier offers automatic transmission in XZ and XZ+ but with the introduction of the clutch free gearbox in XT and XT+, Harrier will become a value for money SUV. Both these mid-variants, XT and XT+ offer a VFM quotient to the buyers.
The launch of Tata Harrier XTA and XTA+ is expected this month itself and with this, the prices will be up by a good Rs 1.30 lakh. Currently, both the XT and XT+ have been priced at Rs 16.88 lakh and Rs 17.68 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Both the versions are also available with Dark and Camo editions too.

The XTA+ will further carry a huge panoramic sunroof and vanity mirror on the co-driver sun-visor. Both the variants will get 17-inch alloy wheels. Safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, Hill Hold Control and traction control.
The Tata Harrier is powered by a 2.0L FCA sourced, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. This unit generates as much as 170 PS with a peak torque of 350 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard and also offers a 6-speed torque converter unit. The latter is sourced from Hyundai.
