Tata Motors at the beginning of 2021 launched an updated SUV. Safari in the market. Tata Safari was an iconic SUV in the market for a long time which got discontinued for a long time. The automotive giant showcased the Safari at the 2020 Auto Expo and had called it Gravitas the. However, the brand then launched the SUV in 2021 and named it as Safari.
Ahead of IPL cricket matches, Tata launched a special or limited edition of Safari under the badge of Safari Gold Edition. Tata Safari Gold was introduced in the market a few months ago whereas the carmaker has now released a new TVC for its Safari Gold. Tata Safari will compete against the likes of Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.

Tata has recently shared its new TVC on its official Youtube Channel. The new edition is available in two colour choices - White Gold and Black Gold. These variants just come up with some add on features as compared to the regular ones. The only major difference spotted is the gold-coloured accents around the SUV. It comes with a gold coloured tri-arrows on the front grille, gold-coloured lining around the headlamps, and a gold-coloured humanity line under the grille and LED Daytime Running Lights.
The new TVC is all about the Gold Edition, how it looks and the design of the exterior and interior of the car. The door handles in this variant have been garnished in Gold whereas the cabin inside has been tweaked a bit with gold accents on the dashboard, AC vents and also around the instrument cluster. Tata has made this one a more premium than before.
On comparing it to the normal Safari, the Gold Edition offers wireless charging, leather-wrapped seats, ventilated seats for front and middle-row passengers, updated infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto. The logo on the steering wheel is also in Gold color and the SUV also gets an air purifier. It is available in six and seven-seater options.

Tata is the first one to introduce ventilated seats for middle-row passengers. These were some features that are an add-on to the Gold Edition. Other than these it carries the same specifications, projector LED headlamps, semi-digital cockpit, 18-inch alloy wheels, steering mounted controls, electrically adjustable driver seat, automatic dining IRVMs, and a panoramic sunroof.
Tata Safari is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged Fiat-sourced diesel engine that is capable of churning out 170PS of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The SUV comes mated to a six-speed manual and six-speed automatic torque converter transmission.
