Tata Safari is one of the popular 7-seater SUVs in the country and the carmaker recently launched the Kaziranga edition of the same. The Kaziranga edition is limited to the Tata SUVs only and those are Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari. In this article, we will be sharing as to how the Kaziranga Edition of the Tata Safari looks like in person.
This Kaziranga edition is inspired by the rich flora and fauna and is a tribute to one of the oldest Kaziranga National Park that is home to the one-horned rhinoceros too. This Safari now gets a special Grassland beige exterior colour shade on the outside and a piano black roof to compliment that.

Furthermore, all the chrome elements present in this edition are now blacked out. The tri-arrow grille design at the front, chrome garnish for the foglights, door handles, ORVMs, roof rails and the chrome strip joining the taillights at the rear are all finished in glossy black treatment. The Safari inscription too at the rear is blacked out.
On the inside, the cabin now gets a reworked theme. It gets tropical wood finished dashboard and the seats along with the door pads are finished in dual-tone earthy beige leatherette material. Feature-wise, it continues with a larger panoramic sunroof, a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, automatic climate control, ventilated seats in the 1st and 2nd row and others.

Under the hood, Tata Safari is powered by a 2.0-litre, FCA sourced, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. This unit produced 168 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 350 Nm. A 6-speed manual transmission is offered as a standard fitment and a 6-speed torque converter as an option. This Kaziranga Edition of the Tata Safari is available in four variants - XZ+ 7S, XZA+ 7S, XZ+ 6S, XZA+ 6S.
