Honda Cars India finally launched the third generation Amaze. The subcompact sedan is priced at Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). New Honda Amaze: Variantwise Pricing
The new Amaze is available in three variants in total- the V, VX and ZX. The base V trim is priced at Rs. 7.99 lakh while the base with CVT gearbox is priced at Rs. 9.19 lakh. The mid-spec VX MT and CVT have been priced at Rs. 9.09 lakh and 9.99 lakh respectively. The top-end ZX trim with a price tag of Rs. 9.69 lakh (MT) and 10.89 lakh (CVT) makes the new Amaze the most affordable car with ADAS tech in India.

With the new Honda Amaze, the company has introduced the ADAS Level 2 technology which is happening for the first time in the segment. The ADAS suite includes features such as adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation and lane keep assist. Offering an ADAS suite at just Rs. 9.69 is a big deal in itself and can prove a game-changer for the compact sedan.
8-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System

The new-gen Honda Amaze comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes paired with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Wireless connectivity eliminates the need for using cables to use crucial functions such as navigation media streaming and hands-free calling.
1.2L i-VTEC with CVT
The new Honda Amaze sources its power from a 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine 4. cylinder engine. This is the same powerhouse used to power the sedan earlier as well. As for the power figure, it generates the same 90 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual and a CVT gearbox. The petrol engine provides a fuel efficiency of 19.46 kmpl when paired with a CVT and 18.65 kmpl for manual.

Keeping the safety-first approach in mind, the Honda has equipped the new Amaze with top-notch safety features such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking camera, lane watch camera and 28 Plus active and passive safety features. Refreshed Design
The new-gen Honda Amaze gets a refreshed design which seems heavily inspired by the LED headlights, a bold chrome grille and a honeycomb inner grille design derived from the Elevate SUV. These design elements make the sedan look more premium and appealing than its rivals. Coming to the rear end, it gets new LED tail lights derived straight from the City. The overall design language looks upmarket and admirable in the respective segmenr.
