This motor churns out 96 PS of power at 6500 RPM and 119 Nm of torque at 4250 RPM. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed torque converter unit. It also gets a 5-speed manual gearbox. New Hyundai Elite i20
Expected Starting Price: Rs. 6.50 lakhs
The new-generation Hyundai i20 is one of the most anticipated cars of this year. The unofficial pre-bookings for the new i20 are already open at the dealership level. The new-gen i20 will get a fresh styling, new powertrains and loads of features. It will be powered by a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre NA petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Tata Motors will soon launch the turbocharged petrol variant of the Altroz premium hatchback. The Altroz Turbo will get a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This turbo petrol motor will churn out 110 PS of power at 5500 RPM and 140 Nm of peak torque between 1500-5500 RPM. It will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Recently, the price of the Altroz Turbo leaked on the internet and it is expected to be priced between Rs. 7.99 lakhs - Rs. 8.75 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
Toyota Innova CNG
Expected Starting Price: Rs. 16 lakhs
Toyota Innova Crysta CNG has been spied on test in India multiple times and it was expected to be launched this festive season. The CNG will be offered with the petrol engine only. It will get a BS6-compliant 2.7-litre petrol engine that develops 166 PS of power and 245 Nm of torque. But, the CNG variant will be detuned to produce slightly lesser power and torque. Audi Q2

Audi India has officially teased its youngest SUV - Q2 and the bookings for the same are also open from today. One can book it by paying Rs. 2 lakhs. The new Audi Q2 will be powered by a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine. This turbo petrol motor will churn out around 190 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque. It will come mated to a 7-speed S-Tronic gearbox. The new Audi Q2 is expected to be priced from Rs. 35 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
MG Gloster
Expected Starting Price: Rs. 32 lakhs
MG Motor India has revealed its flagship SUV - Gloster and it is expected to be launched this month. The bookings for the Gloster are already open. The Gloster will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine that will develop 163 PS of power at 4000 RPM and 375 Nm of peak torque between 1500-2400 RPM. It will also get a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that will churn out 218 PS of power at 4000 RPM and 480 Nm of peak torque between 1500-2400 RPM. Both these BS6-compliant engines will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. The MG Gloster is expected to be priced from Rs. 32 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.

BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe
Expected Starting Price: Rs. 35 lakhs
The Luxury carmakers are on a roll. BMW has announced that the 2-Series Gran Coupe will be launched in India on October 15, 2020. The new 2-Series Gran Coupe will take on the likes of the upcoming Audi A3 and Mercedes A-Class Limousine. It will be powered by a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre oil-burner that will deliver around 190 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. It will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Land Rover Defender

Land Rover will launch the new generation Defender in India on October 15, 2020. The Defender is an Iconic SUV. For now, only the Defender 110 (5-door version) will be launched in India and the Defender 90 (3-door model) will be launched at a later date. The Defender will be powered by a 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine in India. It will churn out around 300 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque and will be mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It will be priced from Rs. 76.57 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi for the 110 version.
Mercedes-Benz EQC
Expected Starting Price: Rs. 1 Crore
Mercedes-Benz will launch India's first Luxury Electric Car - EQC in India on October 8, 2020. It will be powered by an 80 kWh battery pack mated with electric motors and it belts out 400 PS of power and a whopping 760 Nm of torque. It can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 5.1 seconds while the top speed is limited to 180 kmph. The EQC can be charged from 0-80 per cent in just 40 minutes via a DC fast charger and it can run 450 kilometres on a single charge. The Mercedes-Benz EQC is expected to be priced around Rs. 1 Crore, Ex-showroom Delhi.
Mahindra Thar (Already Launched on October 2)
Starting Price: Rs. 9.80 lakhs
The final car in our list is the recently launched 2020 Mahindra Thar. The new-gen Thar was launched in India on October 2, 2020. It is powered by a BS6-compliant 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that churns out 132 PS of power and 300 Nm of peak torque. It also gets a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that develops 152 PS of power and 320 Nm peak torque. Both the engines come mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque-converter automatic transmission with 4X4 system as standard.
