At the 2023 Auto Expo, MG Motor India plans to debut the upgraded Hector. Since its release, the SUV has garnered immense popularity, and now it's getting a facelift. With a massive grille and other bold design elements, the Hector has a very bold appearance. In addition to new functionality on the inside, the impending revamp is anticipated to have fresh design cues. Updated Front & Rear Fascia
The addition of a larger, bolder front grille will be the biggest exterior alteration of the impending facelift. The front fascia will be adorned with an aggressive U-shaped chrome-studded grille that merges with the LED daytime running lights. The SUV also has a modified fog light housing and a faux skid plate that give it a sporty appearance. The SUV's back profile will change, while the side profile will stay the same. A connected tail lamp and new Hector badging in the centre, similar to what we've seen on the Gloster, are among the improvements to the rear.
New Interior Design
The upcoming facelift will have a different interior from the current model. The inside will feature updated instrument cluster, a new engine start-stop button, and new air conditioning vent designs. Additionally, it has faux brushed aluminium and piano black accents that give it a premium look. Additionally, the interior features dual-tone treatment on the door pads, dashboard, and other critical areas, as well as various colour variations for the upholstery.

New Touchscreen Infotainment
The brand already teased the upcoming Hector facelift's infotainment screen. The MG 2023 Hector will include a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, making it one of the largest on the market. The screen will support audio controls, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, internet connectivity, navigation and other vehicle information. The air conditioning controls will also be on the new horizontal screen.
New Smart Connectivity Features
The MG Hector facelift will include various remote functionalities that will make it easier for owners to start the engine, lock doors, open and close the sunroof, and more. The find my car, geo fencing, and navigation i-Smart features are additional helpful features. The subsequent 2023 Hector facelift will have the more feature-rich next-generation i-Smart connection package.

Better Safety Package
The 2023 MG Hector will include a complete set of ADAS technologies to improve the safety features offered by the car. MG already offers the ADAS in its Astor and Gloster SUV. All four disc brakes, ABS with EBD, up to six airbags, and other significant safety elements will be included in the SUV's additional safety features.
Verdict: The engine parameters for the upcoming MG Hector facelift will not change. The SUV is anticipated to cost between Rs 16 lakh and Rs 23 lakh, ex-showroom, in Delhi, at launch. The SUV will still face off against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Mahindra XUV700, and other vehicles.
