The Japanese manufacturer, Toyota Kirloskar Motors introduced two new base variants for its Innova Crysta, GX, petrol seven-seater manual at Rs 16.89 lakhs and GX, petrol eight-seater manual at Rs 16.94 lakhs (ex-showroom). Innova Crsyta is one of the most loveable cars in the Indian market ready to conquer all terrains.
Though these upcoming base models will not come equipped with top-class features but these will feature a smartphone-compatible infotainment system, and manual AC with rear vents as well. It also comes with a set of two airbags, ABS with EBD, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Hill Hold Assist. Toyota is offering 16-inch alloy wheels even with the base trims.
The company as announced before has also hiked the prices of Innova Crysta. The existing base variant GX petrol MT now gets pricier by Rs 12,000 and now the seven and eight-seater GX is priced at Rs 17.30 lakhs and Rs 17.35 lakhs (ex-showroom). respectively. The VX petrol MT has received a hike of Rs 33,000 and is now priced at Rs 20.59 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The price for the petrol automatic has also increased by Rs 12,000 and is now priced at Rs 18.66 lakhs (ex-showroom) and the top-spec ZX AT gets pricier by Rs 33,000 asking a price of Rs 23.47 lakhs (ex-showroom). Innova Crysta diesel G with manual transmission gets costlier by Rs 24,000 and is priced at Rs 18.18 lakhs (ex-showroom). The top-spec variants VX and ZX manual ones also get expensive by Rs 33,000.

On the other hand, Crysta diesel automatic has received a hike of Rs 12,000 and is priced at Rs 20.42 lakhs (ex-showroom). The top-of-the-line ZX AT get pricier by Rs 33,000 and is now priced at Rs 25.32 lakhs (ex-showroom). Innova Crysta is a well-built, comfortable car designed and structured to travel distances. Whether it's a hilly area or a broken patch, this car won't let you feel a single jerk or sound inside the cabin.
Coming on to its performance, it is powered by a 2.7-litre petrol engine that can churn out 164bhp of maximum power and 245 Nm of peak torque whereas the 2.4-litre turbocharged diesel engine is capable of delivering 148bhp of maximum power and 360 Nm of peak torque with the automatic one. Both the engines are available with a six-speed manual and six-speed automatic gearbox.
