TVS Apache RTX 310
TVS is testing a new rival to the Royal Enfield Himalayan and KTM 390 Adventure, named the Apache RTX 310, according to several media reports. It was recently spotted and features a semi-faired design, a digital instrument cluster in a horizontal position, similar to the one on the TVS Raider 125.
The front wheel appears to be 19 inches, with a 17-inch rear wheel, and it features a twin-shooter exhaust system. Other notable features observed in the photos include a rugged luggage rack, a twin-seat setup, and dual-channel ABS.
Recently, TVS unveiled its new 299cc engine, the RT-XD4-300, which is an in-house developed unit. It produces 35 PS and 28.5 Nm of torque, and features a wet multi-plate assist and slipper clutch. The throttle system is ride-by-wire.
There is no confirmation yet, but I suspect the TVS Apache RTX 310 could be the first to launch this engine. Let's wait and see when the automaker makes a public announcement.
