Although the continuing EMPS Subsidy Amount offers some relief to customers, the disappointing end of the FAME subsidy scheme adds to the woes of EV buyers. Following this cutoff, the TVS iQube Electric Scooter has seen a price hike, with the base variant now priced at Rs 1,36,628 (ex-showroom Bengaluru) and the iQube S variant at Rs 1,46,420 (ex-showroom Bengaluru), inclusive of the EMPS Subsidy Amount.
However, there's a silver lining for some fortunate buyers. Upon visiting the website, it becomes apparent that certain states offer additional subsidies from their respective governments, on top of the EMPS Subsidy. These states include Delhi, Assam, Rajasthan, Punjab, and others. Unfortunately, not all states extend such additional assistance to their EV buyers.
