TVS Motor Company has today launched the all-black edition of its commuter motorcycle, the Radeon. With the launch of the Black Edition, the TVS Radeon became wider and now it has 7 colour options- Starlight Blue, Metal Black, Royal Purple, Titanium Grey, DT Blue Black m DT Red Black and the all-new Black. The commuter bike is available in three variants which include a Base, Digi Drum and Digi Disc. Radeon All Black Edition
The newly launched all-black colour option comes with a glossy finish. It has a bronze shade engine cover which goes well with the black paint scheme. Additionally, you get a white TVS and Radeon branding on the tank and side covers/panels. Overall, the new colour option looks good and caters to a selected base of customers who love to own an all-black thing.
TVS Radeon Engine
The TVS Radeon comes powered by a 109.7cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The engine on offer is capable of producing 8 PS of power and 8.7 Nm of torque. For transmission duties, the motorcycle is equipped with a 4-speed gearbox.
TVS Radeon: Hardware and Features
The motorcycle is based on a single cradle tubular frame which is suspended by a telescopic front fork and and pre-load adjustable shock absorbers at the rear. For braking duties, the drum variant gets a 130mm front drum brake while you get 240mm front disc with the disc variant. Both drum and disc trims get a 110mm drum brake at the rear. The drum variant weighs 113 kg, while disc variant weighs 115 kg. Additionally, the TVS Radeon comes with 18 inch alloy wheels on both sides.
In terms of features, the Radeon gets a colour LCD screen, USB charging port and a combined braking system. Being a commuter, it offers only basic features which are needed on a daily basis.
TVS Radeon Price
With the launch of the all-black edition of the Radeon, TVS has reduced the price of the base variant (now starting at Rs. 59,880). On the other hand, the digi drum and digit disc variants are priced at 77,394 and 81,394 respectively.
