The latest transition kicks off with the OBD-2B compliant version of the TVS Jupiter 110, a popular family scooter that now meets the latest emission norms while bringing new-age technology to the segment.

TVS Starts OBD-2B Transition
With the Jupiter 110 spearheading this shift, TVS has committed to upgrading its entire vehicle portfolio to OBD-2B standards by March 2025. This compliance ensures that all new models come equipped with advanced sensors and real-time monitoring capabilities to optimize engine performance, fuel efficiency and emissions control.
The On-Board Diagnostics (OBD-2B) system evaluates crucial engine parameters such as throttle response, air-fuel ratio, engine temperature, fuel levels and engine speed. This data is processed by an intelligent ECU that ensures that the vehicle operates efficiently while minimizing environmental impact.

The TVS Jupiter has been a household name for over a decade, known for its reliability and efficiency. The company recently launched the updated version of the well-established scooter back in August 2024. In the recent update, the system adheres to the OBD-2B standards.
Built on the same chassis as its larger sibling, the Jupiter 125, the new Jupiter 110 boasts sharper styling with a wide LED DRL upfront, integrated turn indicators, and a redesigned tail section that enhances its premium look. Performance
Under the hood, the new Jupiter 110 gets an updated 113.5cc single-cylinder engine, producing 8bhp of power and 9.2Nm of torque. The highlight of this powertrain is the newly introduced iGo Assist feature, which enhances torque delivery during overtaking.
