TVS X Electric Scooter: Design, Features, Battery Details
In a recent company earnings call, Mr KN Radhakrishnan, Director and CEO of TVS, confirmed that the X e-scooter deliveries will start in the coming weeks. TVS X is the most expensive e-scooter in India priced at Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It was launched in India last year and it became the first e-scooter to get an ABS. Now, with the deliveries commencing, the X would be the flagship model by TVS in India.
Speaking of the details, the radically designed X has a maxi-scooter-like outlook. With a bulky appeal, it has been designed for a thrilling performance along with the best of the features to offer. The front design of it gets a unique LED headlight with a large panel. The big alloy wheels with petal disc brakes offer a single-channel ABS as standard.
TVS has equipped the X with a PMSM 11kw electric motor that churns out a peak torque of 40Nm. This power and torque help propel the X from 0-40 kmph in just 2.6s. The top speed of the X e-scooter stands at 105 kmph. Features list includes a 10.25-inch infotainment screen that is tiltable and gets Bluetooth connectivity with music play as well.
With the current pricing of Rs 2.5 lakh, the X stands at the most expensive end of the spectrum in the EV segment of India.

Verdict
With the deliveries of X, TVS also plans to introduce new affordable variants of the iQube scooter. With that said, the expansion strategy for EVs by TVS seems to be strengthening for this fiscal year. The new variants of iQube will add to the affordability and practicaility to the TVS electric branch going forward.
