Tata Gravitas
Based on the new Harrier, the Tata Gravitas will be the second car on the Omega-Arc platform. The Gravitas was officially showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo and it will be launched in the market around the festive season. While the front-end of the Gravitas looks similar to the Harrier, the rear and side will have a few changes. The Gravitas will get the similar 170 PS - 350 Nm generating 2.0-litre diesel engine and it will also get a 6-speed automatic transmission as an optional choice. Tata will offer the Gravitas with in both 6 and 7 seater configurations and the rear part of the roof has been raised to liberate headroom for the last row passengers.

MG Hector Plus
One of the several upcoming 7 seater cars showed at the Expo included the MG Hector Plus. As the name suggests, it will get an additional 3rd row at the back. The new MUV will be launched in the market in the coming months and it will share all the features, powertrains and transmission options with the Hector. It will take on the likes of Mahindra XUV500 in the market and will get a value-for-money price tag.
MG Maxus D90 / Gloster
The new MG Maxus D90 will be launched in the Indian market soon. This upcoming 7 seater car will be the flagship model from the British carmaker and it will take on the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour in the Indian market. The all-new Maxus D90 will be the most expensive vehicle from the brand in the Indian market.
Mahindra Scorpio
The all-new Mahindra Scorpio has been spotted testing on the Indian roads multiple times and it will be launched in the Indian market by the end of this year. The all-new Scorpio will be based on a new platform and it will look very different from the current-generation. The Scorpio will grow in size too and will offer a roomier third-row space. It will get the new 2.0-litre diesel engine that will be shared with the upcoming all-new XUV500.
Hyundai Creta 7-seater
Yes, one of the most important upcoming 7 seater cars will be the Creta 7 seater. Hyundai will soon launch a seven-seater version of the Creta and the car has already been spotted testing abroad. The new Creta 7-seater will be around 30mm longer in length and will take on the likes of MG Hector Plus, Tata Gravitas and even the Mahindra XUV500!
2020 Mahindra XUV500
One of the most awaited upcoming 7 seater cars is the all-new XUV500. This vehicle is done very good in the Indian car market and remained an undisputed winner till the new age rivals came in. With the all-new model, Mahindra will look at regaining its lost market share. As per the render above from Cartoq, the 2020 XUV500 will get an all-new design and even the cabin will be new. It will be offered with 3 rows, a new 2.0 diesel engine and an extensive feature list. The car is currently undergoing real-world tests for the past one year. Toyota's Ertiga
Yes, you heard that right. One of the most affordable upcoming 7 seater cars will be from Toyota in the form of a re-badged Ertiga. The company already sells their own version of the Baleno (Glanza) and the next such product will be a 7 seater. The MPV will come with a 1.5 petrol engine with mild hybrid tech and will not be offered in a base version, like the Ertiga LXi. Expect prices to start at Rs 8 - 8.5 lakh onwards.
