2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250: Design and Features
As visible in the new spy shots, the test bike is completely camouflaged. It is equipped with USD front suspension, which the current model lacks. However, the majority of the design silhouette looks more or less the same. The fuel tank extensions might get slight revisions for better aesthetic appeal.
The sporty and aggressive stance will now be updated via Bluetooth phone connectivity. The updated N250 will possibly get a new digital instrument console. With the connected features, riders will be able to access SMS/call alerts, step-by-step navigation, and more.
On the engine front, the bike is expected to remain unchanged. Mind you, the current model uses a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It generates a peak power of 24.1 bhp and a peak torque of 21.5 Nm. However, the limited 5-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch will remain unchanged.
Rivaling competitors like the Suzuki Gixxer 250, the upcoming Pulsar N250 is expected to get a price hike as well. All thanks to the new features and a new front suspension, we expect that its pricing will take a hike of a few thousand rupees.
Verdict
The Pulsar N250 has not been a great performer in terms of sales since its launch. Closely priced to the NS series, the customers prefer the NS due to their better top-end performance. The bulky design and a 5-speed transmission hit into the eye of new buyers. With the feature addition, Bajaj might be able to pull better sales than the current model.
