On the other hand, the 1.4L turbo petrol of the Kia Seltos generates just 140 PS with 242 Nm of peak torque and gets 7-speed DCT for the automatic. The 7-speed DSG on the Kushaq is slightly better and brings better performance. The 1.4L of Kia Seltos is also offered with a 6-speed stick shift.
Skoda Kushaq lower and mid variants will also be offered with a 1.0L TSI motor which is similar one as to what the Rapid gets. However, the Kushaq generates 115 PS with 175 Nm of peak torque. It gets a 6-speed manual as standard and an optional 6-speed torque converter unit. The Kia Seltos gets a bigger 1.5L naturally aspirated unit but generates only 115 PS with 144 Nm of peak torque. Even though both Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta share the same platform, the dimensions differ and it is the Kia Seltos that provides added length, width and height. The difference is seen when compared with the Skoda Kushaq too.
The Kushaq only highlight is the increased wheelbase of 2651 mm which gives it a USP in the segment. Else, it is the second popular mid-size SUV, Kia Seltos which gets all the attention. The Seltos wins in every department when compared with the Skoda Kushaq.
Styling
Both the SUV follow the unique and old-school conventional design and they have their own set of fan following. The Seltos gets all LED headlights with tiger nose grille which gives it an aggressive look. The butterfly effect on the Kushaq followed by the heavy cladding on the body of Kushaq makes it a looker. At the rear too, the design is favoured for both of them. Now, it is to the sales figure as to which SUV proceeds the other one.
Features
There is no doubt that before the new Creta was launched, it was the Kia Seltos that ruled the mid-size SUV segment. With features like electric sunroof, connected car technology and much more to offer, Seltos has got it all covered.

However, the new Kushaq is nothing short of features as it also gets ventilated seats, wireless charging, connected car tech, cruise control and steering mounted controls. The winner here is the Hyundai Creta as it leads on the race with features loaded till the brim.
Interiors Styling
Commenting on the Kushaq's cabin then it is similar to that seen on the outside. It continues with a well-laid cabin. The two-spoke steering wheel, dual-tone dashboard colour gives it an upmarket approach. Now, it is to the production model as to how the cabin is laid out in lower, mid and higher variants.
The Seltos, however, gets several colour schemes on the inside which are different for both Tech and GT line. It is the latter that bring a character to the SUV and justice to the cabin inside.
