Volkswagen Tigaun R-Line

The Tiguan R-Line looks bulkier, supported by a more curvaceous design, and the massive piano black grille creates a dramatic impact. Regarding the engine option, it will feature the same 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine with an AWD setup and an 8-speed DSG. Even the current Tiguan is powered by the 2.0L engine, producing 190 ps and 320 Nm of torque. Moreover, this will be the first-ever R-Line product to set foot in India.

The Tiguan R-Line was also teased a few days ago, where Volkswagen gave us a sneak peek of its interior. But now, let's discuss in detail what it will get. Let's start with the exterior: it will feature 3D LED headlights and LED separate signature running lights, bumpers in the 'R-Line' sports style, 20-inch black alloy wheels, and rear connecting DRLs. Talking about the interior, it will get a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, wireless app connect, 8 speakers, interior ambient lighting with 30 color options, power-adjustable front seats with memory function, lumbar support, and a ventilation function.

Now, just a take on its exterior design: it has massively grown in size, plus it doesn't resemble an European car, but more like an American, as the whole design language is full of curves and big lights, which might impress a lot of new buyers, as it definitely looks sporty and uber-cool.

Verdict
Now, the date is set, and finally Indians will get a sporty german SUV which is thankfully not an old-model this time, but a brand new, which is currently in its latest generation. From price point of view, as it will be a CBU so expect its price to be nothing less than Rs 45 to 50 lakh. To add more, what VW is doing is noteworthy, as almost every automaker is trying to sell vehicles that appeal to the masses, including families, middle-aged men, and older people. On the other hand, this brand is focused on bringing the most fun-to-drive cars, catering to young people who love speed and dynamism.
