Yamaha has hiked the prices of some of its models for February 2022. This includes the likes of the Fascino and the RayZR mostly.
Most auto manufacturers hike the prices of their products at the start of every year. But with the ongoing pandemic, and along with the chip crisis several automotive manufacturers had to take several drastic steps. The price hike has been one of the most common initiatives that several had to resort to. Yamaha is the recent two-wheeler manufacturer who has hiked prices too, however, most of the price hike pertains to its hybrid scooters.

The selective range of the Yamaha scooters has been increased between the ranges Rs. 1,000 to Rs.1,200. While some models have also been discontinued, like the Aerox 155 Monster edition, and the non-hybrid versions of the Fascino and RayZR models.

Yamaha has hiked the prices of the R15 V4, R15 V4 M, FZ-X, Aerox, and Fascino scooter, before in January. Back then, the amount of hiked prices ranged between Rs. 800 and Rs. 2,000. Back then, Yamaha had cited the rise in the cost of raw materials as the reason behind the price hike.
