Skoda India brought in a cheaper variant of the Kushaq, Active Peace at a price of Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi a few weeks ago. However, this variant was short-lived as the Czech carmaker pulled the plug because of the lack of features which the customers claimed about.
Yes, at Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom, it saved quite some bucks and attracts fewer taxes, however, the feature-less cabin made the carmaker discontinue this variant after producing only 600 units. In addition to this, all the units were sold out immediately.
Compared to the Active variant, this Active Peace variant missed out on the 7.0-inch infotainment system that provided wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Instead, there's just a box type trim in its place. It also misses out on the speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB ports. It now only gets a single 12V socket in the front console.

This variant was Rs 1.20 lakh less than the Active and even though customers could buy the infotainment system from the dealerships, it didn't make any sense. Furthermore, if there are any aftermarket music systems or accessories in the vehicle then the warranty of the car would void.
Rest, all features like manual AC, rake and reach adjustment steering wheel, steering mounted controls, all-four power windows, turn indicators on ORVM, body-coloured door handles, LED taillights, digital clock and more were the same as found in the Active.
