Goldstar 650 Vs Interceptor 650: Design Comparison
The Goldstar 650 comes with a retro design language that seems inspired by the old-school BSAs that used to be on sale in India. It features round headlamps, curved fenders and a thoughtfully designed fuel tank. Overall, the Goldstar carries a classic appeal that even the modern Royal Enfield misses out on. Apart from this, the Goldstar 650 is available in three colour schemes which include Insignia Red, Highland Green, Midnight Black and Dawn Silver. and Shadow Black.
On the other hand, the Interceptor 650 is the Royal Enfield's retro masterpiece. It gets LED headlamps and alloy wheels which you don't get with the BSA Goldstar 650. In addition to this, the RE Interceptor 650 gets twin exhausts and a comfortable seat. All in all, the Interceptor 650 carries a modern retro appeal that looks more contemporary than the Goldstar 650. But as I always say the design is a subjective matter that depends on individual preferences, so I leave it to you to decide which one has a better design.
Features
Both Goldstar 650 and RE Interceptor 650 get a similar set of features. Both motorcycles get dual-channel ABS, twin-pod instrument cluster with analogue dials. The BSA Goldstar 650 derives its power from a 652cc, DOHC, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit. The powerhouse on offer produces 45 bhp of power and 55 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are managed by a five-speed gearbox. Notably, the engine on offer provides impressive performance at low and mid RPMs.
On the other hand, the RE Interceptor 650 carries a more potent and refined engine. It gets a 648cc parallel-twin fuel-injected, air-oil-cooled engine that generates a maximum power output of 46.8 bhp and 52 Nm of torque. The powerhouse comes mated to a 6-speed transmission which reduces the stress on the engine on higher RPMs, providing a smooth riding experience.

Verdict
The BSA Goldstar 650 brings classic charm and solid performance, making it a strong contender against the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
