10.25-inch Harman Touchscreen Infotainment
Recently, Tata Motors has added a new 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The brand has added this screen in the regular variants as well and it is available in the Altroz Racer edition. In regular editions, the 10.25-inch screen is available from the XZ+ S Lux variant onwards. However, wireless connectivity is available from the XZ Lux variant onwards. Moreover, this variant comes with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.
Competition Check: The Hyundai i20 is the primary rival of the Tata Altroz and it also comes with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. Additionally, the i20 also offers a digital instrument cluster.
360-Degree Camera
With the recent update, Tata Motors has updated the feature list of the Altroz and it now comes with better safety and convenience features. The Altroz now offers a 360-degree surround view camera from the XZ+ S Lux variant onwards. The camera available in the hatchback offers good quality and can be used in multiple scenarios such as in tight parking spots, or while taking the car out from a narrow lane.
Competition Check: The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is one of the primary rivals of the Altroz and it offers a 360-degree camera in its top-spec Alpha variants.
Voice Activated Electric Sunroof
The Electric Sunroof made its debut in the Altroz lineup with the launch of the CNG versions. The brand now offers a single-pane electric sunroof in all versions. In the petrol and diesel variants, the sunroof is available from the XM S variant. The brand has made sunroof available from the mid-spec variants so that the customers buying the mid-spec variant can also get these features.
Competition Check: The Hyundai i20 offers a single-pane electric sunroof in the Sportz (O) variant and the mid-spec variants do not get sunroof. On the other hand, the second rival of the Altroz, the Maruti Baleno does not get a sunroof.
Dual-Cylinder CNG Technology
Tata Altroz was the first car to come with dual-cylinder CNG technology. Tata Motors introduced this technology to offer more boot space in CNG cars. The dual-cylinder technology has received a good response and with added boot space this is beneficial for customers as well. The Altroz iCNG offers dual-CNG cylinders which enables the owner to keep more luggage in the boot.
Competition Check: The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is available with company-fitted CNG technology but it does not get the dual-cylinder technology, instead it comes with a single CNG cylinder in the boot. On the other hand, the Hyundai i10 does not offer company-fitted CNG.

Verdict
Tata Altroz is one of the most feature loaded premium hatchback available in the Indian market. The Altroz holds a significant position in the hatchback segment owing to its multiple powertrain options. This is the only hatchback which comes with a diesel engine. Moreover, the safety standards of Tata Motors are also a significant reason for the good sales of this hatchback.
