There are 40 variants in between, divided among two petrol engines, one diesel engine, a CNG kit, a 5-speed manual, and a 6-speed DCT. Tata Altroz Variants

Altroz XE

The base variant of the Altroz starts at 96.64 lakh ex-showroom and is available with 1.2L Revotron petrol and 1.2L iCNG powertrains. Only a 5-speed manual gearbox is offered, no DCT. If we talk about the engine specifications, the 1.2L petrol engine produces 88 PS and 115 Nm of torque, while the 1.2L CNG engine delivers 73.5 PS and 103 Nm of torque.

Altroz XM

Second variant of Altroz starts at Rs 7 lakh ex-showroom, and unlike XE, this is not available with a CNG option. Perks of opting this variant is a little extra features. Let's check them out.

Altroz XM S

The third variant in the lineup is the XM S, which costs Rs 7.44 lakh. Like the previous variant, no option of CNG or automatic transmission. There are only a few additions to the feature list, which elevate its appeal.

Altroz XM Plus

The fourth model in the Altroz lineup offers a choice between a 6-speed DCT, iCNG, and a diesel engine. Manual transmission variants starts at Rs 7.59 lakh, while the DCT variant costs Rs 8.59 lakh. On the other hand, 1.5 L diesel engine variant is priced at Rs 8.89 lakh. Last option here, the iCNG, costs Rs 8.84 lakh. One important thing to note here is that the diesel variant doesn't get the automatic 6-DCT gearbox in any trim.

Altroz XM Plus S

The Tata Altroz XM Plus S is available in multiple variants, starting with the petrol manual at 98.09 lakh and the DCT at 99.09 lakh. Additionally, the iCNG variant costs 98.94 lakh, while the diesel variant is priced at 99.39 lakh.

Altroz XT

In this variant of the Tata Altroz, customers can choose only between the 1.2 L petrol and 1.5 L diesel engines. Furthermore, there is no price difference between the XM Plus S petrol manual and automatic variants and the diesel variant. To be specific, the 5-speed manual costs Rs 8.09 lakh, the DCT costs Rs 9.09 lakh, and the diesel variant is priced at Rs 9.39 lakh.

Altroz XZ

From the XZ trim, customers have the option to choose from the 1.2 L i-Turbo petrol, 1.2 L petrol, 1.5 L diesel, and 1.2 L iCNG option. This is truly their busiest variant and sells quite well. The price is Rs 8.59 lakh for the petrol variant, Rs 9.90 lakh for the diesel, Rs 9.60 lakh for the iCNG, and Rs 9.70 lakh for the DCT transmission.

Altroz XZ Plus S

Second top variant in the Altroz lineup offers all types of powertrains. It starts at Rs 9.09 lakh, while the top-end XZ Plus S Lux DCT is priced at Rs 10.94 lakh. To add more, there are two Dark Edition variants: the manual gearbox version costs Rs 9.49 lakh, and the DCT with the iTurbo engine is priced at Rs 10.39 lakh.

Altroz XZ Plus OS

This model is available exclusively with the CNG variant or 1.2 L Nautrally aspirated petrol and does not offer diesel or turbo petrol options. Tata has recently updated this trim to include their own connected car tech, an air purifier, a 360-degree camera, and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen.

After this model, Tata introduced the Altroz Racer, a performance-oriented hatchback. The price for this is Rs 10.98 lakh, with the manual gearbox variant priced at Rs 9.98 lakh.
