Tata finally launched the CNG versions of both Tiago and Tigor a few days back. The top-spec Tiago XZ+ dual-tone is priced at Rs 7.65 lakh whereas Tigor XZ+ CNG dual-tone gets a sticker price of Rs 8.42 lakh, both figures being ex-showroom Delhi. For people who like to take roadtrips, Tata Tigor CNG will be a better choice as it can accommodate more luggage than Tiago CNG. Further, the Tigor being a sedan, does have better road presence.

With an additional Rs 77,000, Tigor XZ+ CNG host a lot of features. These are push button start/stop, automatic headlights, LED taillights, rear armrest, cup holders at the front and rear, rain sensing wipers and an additional 12V charging socket.
Both Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG churns out 73 PS of power with a peak torque of 95 Nm. This 1.2L unit is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. The ARAI certified economy of these CNG duo sticks to 26.49 km/kg. Both these cars get a 4-star Global NCAP safety rating. Driving performance of both the cars will be similar as well.
