Tata Tigor CNG - Looks and Colour Options
One look at the Tigor CNG and it looks quite similar to that of its petrol counterpart. However, the i-CNG badge at the rear is a differentiating factor and so are the CNG stickers on the front and rear windshield. Overall, the styling of the Tigor CNG is aesthetically pleasing. Tata Tigor CNG is offered in five colour options namely - Arizona Blue, Magnetic Red, Pure Silver, Opal White and Daytona Grey. The Magnetic Red is reserved for the top-spec XZ+/XZA+ variant only.
Tata Tigor CNG Power Figures and Mileage
Tata Tigor CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated motor. This unit churns out 72 bhp at 6000 RPM with a peak torque of 95 Nm at 3500 RPM. Unlike the petrol model that also gets an optional AMT gearbox, the Tigor CNG is limited to a 5-speed manual transmission only. The ARAI certified figure sticks to 26.49 km/kg which is quite impressive. Another addition is that, even with the added CNG cylinder that takes up most of the boot, the boot carrying capacity is still a whopping 205 litres.
Tata Tigor CNG Features and Safety Equipment
Tata Tigor is a feature loaded compact sedan and comes with an automatic climate control, fully digital instrument cluster, cooled glove box, a touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, rain sensing wipers, engine start/stop button, steering mounted control and among others.
Safety-wise, the Tigor CNG is fairly equipped and gets dual airbags at the front, ABS with EBD, corner stability control, reverse parking sensors, rear camera and others. This sedan also scored an impressive four star rating in out of five in the Global NCAP crash test.
Tata Tigor CNG Prices
When compared with the petrol counterparts, the Tigor CNG is a good Rs 90,000 expensive. The prices of the Tigor CNG sticks from Rs 7.70 lakh to Rs 8.42 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
