However, despite being one of the most value-for-money products in the segment, this motorcycle faces stiff competition from rivals such as the Pulsar N160 and the Yamaha FZ-S FI V4. The Bajaj Pulsar N160 derives its power from a 164.82cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that churns out 15.68 bhp of power and 14.65 Nm of torque. In terms of features, you get a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, enabling features such as turn-by-turn navigation, battery levels and call and SMS alerts. Also, there are three ride modes- Road, Rain and Off-road. As for the hardware, you get USD front forks and a mono-shock at the rear. For braking duties, there are disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.

Hero Xtreme 160R 4V

Price starts at Rs. 1.51 lakh

The Hero Xtreme is another worthy rival of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. It features a 163.2 cc, air-oil cooled 4-valve engine. The powerhouse on offer produces 16.6 bhp of power and 14.4 Nm of torque. In terms of equipment, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V get a better set of features than the Apache RTR 160. It includes features such as panic brake alert, drag race timer, full LED lighting, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.

On the hardware front, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V base and connected dual disc trim still gets telescopic front forks while you get USD front forks from the Premium trim onwards. However, the braking setup remains the same across the range which includes dual disc brakes at either ends.

The motorcycle gets telescopic forks in the front and a monoshock at the rear. For braking, the Yamaha FZS FI V4 gets single disc on both wheels.

It sources its power from a 155cc single cylinder, fuel-injected engine which is tuned for producing 13.4 bhp of power and 13.8 of torque. In terms of features, you get full LED headlight and taillights, clip-on handlebars and most importantly a digital instrument instrument cluster.

On the hardware front, the Suzuki Gixxer SF gets telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear, along with a five step adjustment functionality. Braking duties are handled by discs at both ends. Also, there is a single channel ABS on offer with the motorcycle.
