It's been two years since the launch of MG ZS EV and we've already seen an updated model with a higher driving range last year. The ZS EV has now garnered a 27% market share in the electric vehicle segment and has found 4,000 customers till now. MG ZS EV comes with a 44.5 kWh high-tech liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery pack that provides a driving range of 419 km. When compared with Hyundai Kona EV and Tata Nexon EV, this car provides a better driving range. The 44.5 kWh battery generates 149 PS of power with a peak torque of 350 Nm. It is mated to a single-speed automatic transmission. The ZS EV does a sprint of 0-100 kmph in just 8.5 seconds.
This electric SUV can be charged from 0-80% in just 50 minutes via the DC charger and also gets 177 mm of ground clearance that helps the SUV in gliding over the bad patches of the roads. MG also provides a charger for your home/office that is free of cost. The SUV can be charged to 100% in just 8 hours using that.

The ZS EV is available in two variants - Excite and Exclusive. Feature-wise, this electric vehicle gets a panoramic sunroof, an 8.0-inch touchscreen unit, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 6-way power-adjustable driver's seat, heated ORVMs, PM 2.5 filter and many more.
This electric SUV observed 145% growth in 2021 when compared to 2020. MG sold a total of 2798 units of ZS electric. Even a lot of existing buyers of MG products have exchanged their cars for the ZS electric. Nitin Agarwal from Pune, an owner of Hector Smart Diesel upgraded to ZS EV. Another customer, Deepak Singh from Mumbai has upgraded from Hector 2019 to ZS EV in 2021.

The company claims that not only the loyal customers of MG but owners of other cars are making a switch towards ZS EV. Seema Rawal from Rohini New Delhi, a customer of Jeep wanted to move to an EV. She decided to exchange her Jeep for the ZS EV.
